A vacancy exists in Mount Maunganui for a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead and supervise our Engineering and Draughting Team.

The successful applicant will have:

• A degree in mechanical engineering and be registered (or gain registration) with IPENZ as a professional engineer
• Experience with materials handling product design
• Be fully conversant with the MS Office suite of products
• CAD drawing and modelling skills with FEA experience
• Full understanding of applicable codes and standards
• Be decisive and able to perform under pressure within tight time constraints
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to work as a team
• Able to train and mentor others
• Current NZ Class 1 drivers licence
• Knowledge of the HSAW Act is desirable

Drug and alcohol testing is mandatory, both pre-employment and randomly throughout employment.
